The Real Bad Boy Makes his Cagewarriors Debut at Cagewarriors Ultimate Force on April 30th.
Lars “Bad Boy” Besand makes his Cagewarriors debut against the Redditch hot shot Ross “The Boss” Mason at the Castleford Xscape Centre on April 30th.
The Cagewarriors Fighting Championships are proud to announce a huge middleweight match-up. As the self proclaimed “Real Bad Boy” Lars “Bad Boy” Besand (13-10-1) takes on the popular and promising UK star Ross “The Boss” Mason (5-2-0) at Cagewarriors “Ultimate Force” on Saturday 30th April.
Besand who hails from Denmark is a veteran of Ultimate Combat, European Vale Tudo and Extreme Brawl (to name but a few) and has a large fan base amongst UK fight fans who like his gusty fighting style and honest attitude. His UK fanbase have long campaigned for the “Bad Boy” to be included on a Cagewarriors show and he will get his chance in Castleford in a month’s time, where he will be looking to add to his good run of form that has seen him go on a 4 fight win streak, which included a 1st round win over Andre Balschmieter at Masters Fight Night in Germany on the 26th March.
Ross “The Boss” Mason is an Ultimate Combat, Shooto Swiss and K-1 MMA veteran and is currently one of the UK’s rising young stars. Hailing from Redditch in the Midlands, Mason brings with him a huge and passionate support and entertains them with a mix of heavy hitting striking on his feet and neat defensive work on his back along with some powerful ground and pound on top. Although he isn’t the finished article, Mason is quickly rising up the rankings and will be looking to impress again in his debut Cagewarriors performance after emerging victorious in the K-1 MMA circuit against the tough Londoner Charlie Francis back in February.
Both men have entertaining crowd pleasing styles and both have lots of heart, support and numerous stoppage wins under their belts and on April 30th they will meet inside the 32ft CWFC octagon in the futuristic Xscape centre in Castleford in an explosive match-up that no MMA fan will want to miss.
